A Perfect Christmas

A Perfect Christmas

A Perfect Christmas
Rosie, 13

Usually in late evening, we light the open fire, watch TV, and put out our stockings and mince pies and brandy for Father Christmas, and a carrot for Rudolph. Then we go to bed, excitedly waiting for the next morning. We usually get up at 6.30, and go into our parents’ room, and wake them up! We then go downstairs and check whether Father Christmas has been to us. We open his presents up on my parents’ bed, and then slowly get dressed and have breakfast. After that, my grandparents usually come round, and we open our main presents from everyone else apart from Father Christmas. When that has finished, we watch TV, and have Christmas lunch with all the works, turkey, roast potatoes, stuffing, gravy, everything! Then we have Christmas pudding, whih is a fruity hot dome-shaped pudding, that is usually flamed with brandy and served with cream or custard. My grandparents usually leave after that. In the afternoon, we watch ‘It’s a wonderful life’, or ‘The wizard of oz’ which is on every Christmas. Sometimes we sleep, or play with our new things too. We then watch the TV and go to bed, sad that Christmas is over once again, but looking forward to it next year!
