Christmas in Mexico
Joaquim Gabriel Andrade
In Mexico my family and I get together at
my grandma’s house where everybody is. We leave the presents under the Christmas tree. We play while the turkey is being cooked.
Sometimes my cousins, my brother and I get some fireworks and light them up outside the house. We always leave some for later. We make teams and play soccer or American football.
When dinner is ready we all go in the house and sit down. After we eat we stay in the house a while and then we launch all the fireworks one by one. We wait until 12 o’clock to open our presents.
We play soccer or something else and then everybody goes home.
