Christmas in Seattle

Christmas in Seattle
Laughs101

I love Christmas here in Seattle! Every year, we see the play “A Christmas Carol” at the ACT Theatre. It is cool because downtown is so pretty with all the Christmas decorations. We always get our tree at Westover Farm, which is near my house. They have great trees! We get our tree the week after Thanksgiving.

On Christmas Eve, we go to my Grandma and Grandpa’s house, where all of my aunts, uncles, and cousins are gathered. We just talk, have dinner, and get presents. Then, that night, we receive “Christmas pajamas” from our parents, run upstairs and put them on, then read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. Of course that night, “Santa” fills our stockings with goodies, and also puts presents at our fireplace. We open those first on Christmas Day, then head out to the living room, where our Christmas tree is along with the rest of the presents. We open those and it doesn’t last long for me, cause I just rip them open!

We have dinner that night, after we play with all the presents and mess around with them. We have turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, and sparkling cider for dinner.
