Christmas in South Jersey

Christmas in South Jersey
r.gillespie

In South Jersey for Christmas we do these things: For dinner we have turkey, mashed potatoes, bean casarole, corn on the cob and stuffing. The desserts are ice cream, cherries, cake and pie. Some of our traditions are putting up Christmas trees and trimming them. Under the tree people put presents for you. You put presents for other people there, too. We hang stockings above the fireplace for Santa to fill with toys. He also put presents under the tree. We go to our relative’s house for dinner. We go to church. We go sledding. At night we sing carols. We put ornaments up. That is how we celebrate Christmas.
