My Christmas in Brazil
My Christmas is always in Brazil. My father’s family gets together about six p.m. on my great-grandfather’s farm. Then all the kids stay outside the house until dinner is ready while our relatives put the presents under a big Christmas tree. Sometimes they just talk with each other. We take lots of pictures.
Then dinner comes and the kids eat all together in the kitchen. The grownups eat at a long table outside. When we are all done eating we go to the fireplace where some little Jesus and Mary dolls are placed and we pray. Then we can open our presents. But after that a man dressed as Santa Claus comes ringing a small bell. Then he gives us one present each.
After we all opened presents, thanked who gave them and played with them, we all go home, I go to my farm.
