1/2 Cup of butter 1 Cup of sugar 4 Egg yolks, beaten 3 cups of flour 1/4 Pound of ground almonds 1 Teaspoon of vanilla
Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy then add the thickly beaten egg yolks. Blanch the almonds and grind them and mix them with the flour. Combine the mixtures and add the vanilla. Chill the dough and then roll in 1/2-inch strips and cut diagonally in 2-inch strips. Bake until a light brown at 350°F.
