1 Cup of sifted flour 1/2 Teaspoon salt 2 Eggs, beaten 1 1/8 Cups of milk Meat drippings
Beat the flour and milk with a rotary beater or electric blender. Beat the eggs in a bowl, add the salt and flour and milk. Let stand 30 minutes. Put 4 to 5 tablespoons of roast beef drippings in a loaf bread pan, pour in the batter and bake about 30 to 35 minutes. Remove the loaf from the pan and serve immediately. It will be brown, puffed up and much better tasting than most of the batters that soak up all the gravy in the roast pan. This pudding should be placed in the oven about 35 minutes before your roast done.
