PKD is Polycystic Kidney Disease,my sister and I have it. You are normaly born with it, but it does not start effecting your kidneys until your early thirties. The only way you know you have it is by asking your doctor to check you for it, it is a genetic disease.The only symptoms you have are back aches. Most people cannot tell they is something wrong until it is time to get on dialysis. I just had a kidney transplant and I am unable to work for about 2 months.I am asking for donations, because I did not know that I was not going to be able to work for so long and that your insurance does not cover everything you have done. I need to get about 2000.00 to cover my premiums, and my cost of living until October. Thanks so much for helping...
