Fundraiser: Savannah 20 yr. old car crash victim
Dear Friends and Family,Savannah Fortner, 20 years old, was in a near head on collision on Hwy. 78 right outside of Farmersville Tx. on July 3rd. The other driver had fallen asleep at the wheel. Savannah has sustained multiple internal injuries and multiple broken bones including pelvis, femur and forearm. She has had multiple surgeries and bones repaired by rods, plates and screws.Savannah is unable to walk at this time without the assistance of a walker and is in a rehabilitation program undergoing therapy. She has a long way to go with her recovery.Savannah’s right foot has not been healing properly. So more x-rays have been done, concluding that it is also broken and surgery will soon follow. Outpatient rehabilitation will continue for an undetermined amount of time.Savannah has a 2 year old daughter (Abby), which of course she cannot wait to do the simple things she loves, such as chasing her and playing hide and seek or just being able to hold her completely.Savannah is unable to work at this time. This fundraiser has been started to try and make it just a little easier for Savannah to be able to focus on her recovery and her child and not the mounting bills. To realize the possibilities of the great things that her life still has in store! Any and all donations will help provide for medical cost and necessities only. Any monies not used as specified will be donated to another family in a similar situation. Thank you for all of your prayers and support! Please share this information with friends and keep Savannah in your prayers! Thank you!
