In Memory of Coach Bill D (Billy DeLorie)

In Memory of Coach Bill D (Billy DeLorie)

Bill DeLorie passed away on October 19,2011, he was only 30 years old. He lived his entire life with the disease known as MDA, specifically Fredrick’s. Every year he would do anything possible to raise money for the yearly charity, THE MDA Telethon, aired on Labor Day. We are trying to raise money so in his memory his family can still make a donation to this charity. This is a little bit about the person Billy was. Billy was a graduate of Holliston High School class of 1999. He worked in mail delivery at Boston College and coached the Framingham Flyers Youth Football Team for 6 years. He loved all sports, but had a special love of hockey and the Boston Bruins. Billy greatly enjoyed attending concerts and traveling, particularly his many trips to Disney World.
He was an amazing person whose generosity and thoughtfulness touched many lives. With a great sense of humor, his infectious laugh and smile made people happy just to be around him. He demonstrated this good nature as the 1991-92 MDA Good Will Ambassador. Billys father, Bill, has been a Wellesley Fire Firefighter and on the departmant for the last 26 years. The IFFA (fire fighters union) are a huge contribitor to this orgnanization. By donating, you will help the thousands of kids out there that have this disease and have to live their lives with it every day. This money not only goes to research but also provides money for camps, and many other great events that keep a smile on their faces.Anything will help, so please consider donating to this cause because it will make a difference. Thank you
