Victim of Dog Attack Sarah Ziebro
Sarah's mother found a horrific scene on the evening of July 23rd when she checked in on her. After a recent brain surgery for epilepsy, Sarah had suffered a seizure. While unconscious, her dog, a rescue she had been taking care of for over a year, attacked her. Sarah was near death when EMS arrived and was life-flighted to a nearby hospital with extensive wounds to her face and neck. She received over 1,000 stitches and spent 3 days in ICU in a medically induced coma. She is currently recuperating in the hospital. Sarah has accepted this tragic event with a positive attitude yet realizes there is a long road ahead for healing and recovery. Over the next few months she will undergo extensive scar therapy and several reconstructive surgeries to further repair her eyes and ears. Sarah has been self-employed dealing with the pre-existing epilepsy condition for over 7 years and has been unable to get health insurance. If you would like to support Sarah and assist her with her insurmountable medical bills, please donate. We also ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She offers the sincerest appreciation for your support.
