HELP JONATHAN GET HIS NEW WHEELS
On September 5, 1995 our close and dear friends, Steven and Elisa Masters welcomed into the world their beautiful bundle of joy Jonathan Masters. Jonathan was a healthy happy boy with lots of energy. When he was about 9 years old they started to see some changes in Jonny and became concerned so they took him to the doctors. On September 18, 2005 Jonathan was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystropy (ALD) and at that time they were told that he may not survive past 6 months. Steve and Elisa weren't going to give up and started doing all the research they could to help Jonny. They've traveled to several states for treatment and conferences to educate themselves on ALD to help their son. They have been so dedicated to helping Jonny that even thou he has several handicaps, Jonny is still here blessing everyone that comes in contact with him. Even after all the finanical struggles and health concerns with Jonny, the family is stronger than ever. Jonny has been staying stable for awhile now but he is in a special wheelchair and it needs to be replaced. The cost of his chair is close to $20,000 because it has to be specially made just for him so that it can fit the bad curve of his back. They have to make a mold of his body so they can customize the chair to his shape. Insurance isn't covering all the costs for the replacement chair so Steve and Elisa have to work 2 jobs to try and come up with the money to pay the difference. With all the other costs that they have and trying to keep up with their other bills they don't know when they will come up with the money to order the chair. Jonny really needs his new chair so I am asking if any of you can help by donating to help Jonny get his new chair sooner it would be greatly appreciated. No amount is to small and every penny is greatly appreciated.
