Xaymara urgently needs an Accessible Van
My name is Xiomara Montes; I live in Fort Lewis, WA, wife and mother of three children. My husband’s been in the US Army for 6 years. Four and a half years ago, our life changed, when our second daughter was born, she was 29 weeks at the time of her birth premature. She immediately hospitalized for 37 days in neonatal intensive care unit. The result of being born prematurely is that she had a brain injury that resulted on cerebral palsy she also has, seizure disorder, epilepsy, and cortical blindness. She’s had two major surgeries, one to correct her hips and the other to place a gastric tube, all in less than 8 months both, she also had a NISSEN fundoplication and a pyloroplasty. For the last 3 years my husband and I have been trying to trade our vehicles for an Accessible Van, because our daughter is in wheel chair, and now she is a lot bigger. We have tried to finance this handicap van with many different financial entities but because of our financial situation are impossible to be approved. I give thanks to God because he has bless us big time, and this is something I have been praying for, because is a big need in our lives. I know the price tag on these vehicles is high but God will make it possible. Thank You for reading and God Bless your heart!
