My dad (Therell "buddy" Richardson) is in need of a heart transplant. I am starting this fundraiser for awerness about ORGAN DONATION and to help my dad have someone with him at all times during this journey. This is his story....At 34 first Heart attack 4/92 open heart 4/14/92Defibrillator placed 8/1/3 for non sustained ventricular tachycardia Over 12 heart caths 7 stents. 4 placed in 2003. 3 more placed in 2008 Went to UAB Kirkland clinic 9/25/08 worked up to week of 10/27/08Started Oschner hospital 12/8/08Listed on transplant list oct 2011Continuous IV med started 3/12Now at Oschner hospital waiting on heart transplant.....
