Janske Brothers Relief Effort
Al & George, The Janske Brothers, of Oakland's Glenview are in need of aid. They lost their family home to the bank. They have been camping for a month outside on Mt. Diablo, with their three dogs. They got struck by lightning in last month's storm when lightning hit the water spigot and it travelled to the tent seeking metal inside their tent. They are okay, but they need immediate help. Relocating with three dogs is not easy and Al is unemployed, seeking a job. He is a trained Accountant for NonProfits. He has 8 years valid experience in that role. He is not a substance abuser. Please work together to creatively raise funds and awareness of their plight, so they may get a leg up and get their lives back. The did not put their hands out, I took it up without a formal introduction. They have a few friends, but even their friends did not know the magnitude of their situation. Awesome news: they received a lap top and mobile phone on 4/19 to help find housing, services, and steady employment for Al. Please help with money now to keep them off the streets and together with their beloved pooches. Finding services and housing can be hard when you have 3 dogs and immediate needs. Their beloved family, George's reason for being, George's 24/7 job is to take care of Al and the dogs. They cannot be separated. Working together, even giving just $20, we can help them and we can get them housed. Give People! Some people were not raised to put their hand out and ask. They are men of quality values, suffering from the mere fact that we would rather change the channel than think about creative solutions to problems that could happen to anybody, even your neighbor you see daily walking their dogs, until one day you don't. But you are too busy with your own life to wonder: Where is that guy who likes genealogy, hey, where's that guy's brother with those three dogs? Please restore the true fabric of our neighborhood and a bit of our humanity by helping to save one family who has been here in Oakland's Glenview neighborhood for over 50 years. Thanks, Friends.
