Kalani is a Hawaiian word meaning "Chiefly Warrior." It also happens to be my son William's middle name, who's had Type 1 Diabetes since he was 7. My Brother Corey and I are doing Tough Mudder in September and our short term goal is to to raise 5k in time for the race.
