Michael, my older son, is in Springdale West Rehab Hospital after a traumatic brain injury from a truck accident on January 29, kept him in ICU for almost 3 months. He has emerged from the coma, thank God. Here's a pic of him and me in happier days. He's had several brain operations and faces a long road of rehab and therapy. He is learning to swallow and talk now so he can eventually be rid of the trach, and he has to learn to sit, stand, eat, etc. We are trying to raise money for a Neurocare Muscle Stimulator, which will help build back muscle tone and strength. We also hope to get him the benefit of Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber Treatments, which are said to be of great benefit in Traumatic Brain Injury Patients. He would need 50-60 treatments at about $120 per treatment. Of course there are other costs and will continue to be. Will you help with Michael's wellness costs?
