Jerry Schuttek, age 57, originally from Carterville and now in Elkville, has been diagnosed with step 8 prostate cancer. This is a very aggressive, rapidly spreading form. As a lifelong General Contractor, Carpenter and Construction Worker, he is currently uninsured. Jerry has begun treatment, and the family has petitioned the pharmeceutical company and has filed for financial assistance. As the family waits for these actions to be approved, which could take weeks or even months, medical and living expenses continue to mount. Any help in raising this money is greatly appreciated!
