A few months ago, Allyson Griffie was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (Breast Cancer). Since that diagnosis there have been many tests, procedures, and a double mastectomy with reconstruction performed. Allyson has since then been told that all surrounding tissue and lymph nodes are clear of cancer…thankfully! Tests to personalize further treatment have been completed and Leonard and Allyson are still waiting for those results.As you all can imagine, the medical costs that have accumulated (and are still accumulating) are astronomical and fundraisers for the Griffie’s are at the beginning stages.
