Help send an inspiring young man to college.
Bradley Kamoji is a 20 year old young man with big dreams. An orphan, Bradley lost his mother and his twin brother when he was only 4 years old. This last week he lost his only remaining immediate family member - his older brother. Through good fortune, he was taken in by our dear friend Pam Kamoji, who was a kindergarten teacher at our daughter's school here in Kenya. Through Pam's job, Bradley was able to attend and graduate from the international school of Kenya, achieving both a North American High School degree equivalent and the International Baccalaureat. Bradley was accepted by the United States International University here in Nairobi, but then his life was turned upside down. His adopted mother, our dear friend, was stricken with an autoimmune disorder, similar to multiple sclerosis, which has rendered her completely disabled. This has left Bradely and his 3 adopted siblings without a bread winner in the family.Bradely is bright, hard-working and a really good person, but here in Kenya, without a degree, he can only look forward to earning about $100 per month. He desperately wants to pursue a BS in economics and Statistics has gotten himself re-accepted into school, at the University of Nairobi. He hopes to earn his degree and get a job that will allow him to stand on his own and to care for his mother and his 8 year-old brother. We've been supporting his living expenses, but need help paying for his school. Student loans don't really exist here in Kenya. We are sending out a plea to all of our extended network of friends, family and colleagues to help this young man achieve his dream and take care of his family. If all of our Facebook friends contributed only $25 per year for the next 4 years, we could send him to school and help him ensure a successful future. Please consider making a donation, however big or small, to help this young man help himself and his family.
