Eli David Gibson born May 24, 2012 with a rare genetic disease called Holoprosencephaly. Only 3% of babies born with HPE survive birth. Jen, husband Tim and two beautiful daughters have limited time with their little boy, but are going to love him for every moment they have him. As sisters in Pi Beta Phi, it is our intention to rally around Jen and make sure she knows she is loved and always in our thoughts and prayers!ALL funds will go to help the Capsuto/Gibsons with expenses arising from baby Eli's extensive medical care, travel, hotels, food, babysitting, nursing services and all the other things that absolutely drain a normal family's budget when they are caring for a gravely ill child. Ideally, we would like to start with the goal of paying a mortgage payment and covering Christmas for the kids. We will see how it goes and adjust from there, but that's where we want to start.
