10 years ago my best friend was taken home to peace after a fight with Desmo Plastic Small Cell round tumors, a rare and under-studied form of cancer. In light of the 10 year anniversary here, I'm trying to get a sizable donation together to donate to "Hugs From Shaun". This organization works to support CHOC (Children's Hospital Orange County) in their research of DSCRT as well as the comfort and hope of the current patients at CHOC. I have hand etched a mirror with the Hugs From Shaun logo and will use a portion of the donations to get it framed before giving it to Shaun's family, the rest will go to Hugs From Shaun.
