Baby Bishop & New Family Need Help!
Hello Friends and Family! Many of you may already know that the "Healthy, but Hungry" puppy I adopted from someone on Craigslist in September has been ill with Parvo. Bishop began intensive inpatient treatment at our vet: Hickory Grove Animal Hospital in Charlotte, NC and stayed for 3 nights/4 days to begin his road to recovery.I was told by his previous "Owner" that his litter was given their first 2 rounds of shots, de-wormed, and seen by an emergency vet for testing after their "neighbor neglected to feed them" when the owner went on vacation for a week... but there is NO supporting evidence for this! I have NOT been able to confirm any of their story after making several phone calls to all of the Emergency Clinics in their area. When I posted my Ebay listings in hopes of selling some items to help cover these unexpected expenses, a friend suggested a PayPal donation link, so I am giving it a go!If there is any way you are able to help us out with a few dollars, we would really appreciate it. I knew we would have standard expenses bringing home another dog, but I did not anticipate this! I placed a deposit when he was admitted so they could get him going with IV fluids and medication, but I am not sure what else this will all come to in order for him to be a truly healthy and happy Bishop! If you would like to donate and then by chance we find out we have more than we need, I will update the listing with "pay it forward" information for the local animal rescue organization we adopted Alistar from last fall (NMAR) and/or The Spay & Neuter Clinic of Charlotte. Currently he just had his third set of labs done and he is still RBC low, but it could be from fighting intestinal parasites as well. We will recheck in 3 weeks when we take him for his booster shots. I am known for being excessive with my notes, so I shall simply say Thank You for even taking the time to read this!Peace & Thanks for your consideration. Bishop & The Browns
