Vincent's Path to Recovery
We were blessed once again when our baby boy, Vincent was born on October 28, 2009. Our family was complete, we now had a beautiful daughter and a handsome son. This joy suddenly turned to fear when Vincent was diagnosed with PDD-NOS, an autism spectrum disorder at the age of 2. Our lives have been turned upside down and will never be the same. Every day is a struggle and the smallest accomplishment is a huge success. We have begun the long journey to try to get our little boy all the help he desperately needs. We have done endless testing and sought out biomedical treatments for him which are extremely expensive and not covered by insurance. Danielle has taken a leave from work to stay home and help Vincent. It is our lifelong commitment to have Vincent recover and live a happy and healthy life. Everything a parent wants for their child. We participated in the 3rd annual "Follow Your Path to Recovery" walk. The event occured on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Clove Lakes Park in Staten Island. Please support Vincent in his Path to Recovery. Any donation you generously make with be used to help Vincent and other children with Autism. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
