For the second time, Mandy and her husband, Henry, experienced a break-in at their property. The thieves broke through a locked fence, releasing three of their Cardigan Welsh Corgis. One dog was quickly found, but another one, Hannah, was hit by a car and seriously injured, while the third dog, Zelly, was missing overnight until returned with the help of flyers, rewards, social media, and prayers. Any of us who have dogs know the costs involved in just the day-to-day care. When tragedy strikes, costs for ER, multiple surgeries, recovery, etc add up astronomically quickly. Lost dogs cost time lost from work, gas money, flyer costs, and more. Mandy's husband, Henry, has just returned to work after being unemployed for over a year. Their savings are gone.
