The Celebration of Life event and fundraiser in Honor of Monique & Gloria Muhammad who were both survivors of Cancer has been going on since May of 2004. Monique(Breast) Gloria(Colon) Mother and daughter were both diagnosed with Cancer in 2003 and battled until 2004 when they were both told they were in remission. Monique thought up this event to celebrate her & her moms life as well as raise funds for Breast Cancer research as well as for her Organization that aids in mentoring at risk teen girls, low income parents and youth esteem building programs. This event has been held at several venues from Chicago to the Dallas Area. Unfortunately in October 2009 Gloria's Cancer came back and claimed her life which makes this event and research that much more important to our organization. This year it will be an online fundraiser and webcast event that will be posted for all donors to view the all components of the event including the world renown annual great entertainment. The Event will have singing, comdey as well as a brief history of the event and organizations goals. The link to the live webcast will be sent to each donors email as well as posted on Code Pink Productions site, Facebook and Twitter pages. What ever amount you can give is appreciated as it will go to benefit the Breast Cancer Research foundation and Code Pink Productions, Inc. Code Pink Productions, Inc is a legal State of Texas Non Profit Organization who is awaiting approval for Federal 501(c)3 Non-Profit status.
