Chase was abused by his biological father at 6 weeks old, it is called shaken baby syndrome. He suffered severe brain damage and two broken legs. He is now 17 years old. Chase's current condition is very different from a year ago, and the year before that. Chase needs many types of therapy to try to keep him from declining any faster which includes his therapy from his neurologist, physical therapist, speech therapist, immunologist, and many other doctors to help him talk and walk and hopefully he will be able to continue to walk on his own. Chase's sister Megan and mother Tami are planning on attending the Shaken Baby Syndrome/Abusive head Trauma Conference in hopes to learn about ways to help Chase.
