In Mid-July of this year, my body decided to betray itself. We discovered that I had Lupus, by way of a massive flare-up. This Lupus flare up was the worst kind, CNS Lupus. I have no memory of the next month, until I woke up at IU Medical Center in Indianapolis August 17.My family at Direct Buy wanted to begin a collection for me, and so this site was started. The medical and other expenses related to being in the hospital for a over a month have put quite a burden on my family, and I appreciate the desire of Direct Buy and others to help.
